The atlas uses a Natural Earth base map rendered on an HTML5 canvas. Each disease is assigned a distinct color: red for COVID-19, amber for dengue, purple for H5N1, green for mpox. Marker radius scales logarithmically with confirmed case counts so both large and small outbreaks remain visible at global zoom. Click any marker to open a country-disease briefing with current statistics, trend direction, and links to the relevant WHO situation report.
